I’m back! And with an invite to join me for an hour a week with the goal of writing for fun. A plain and simple call to action — make time to imagine, create and be.
Enter the oasis
9-weeks to get together and write for no other reason than to enjoy creating again.
An hour every Sunday, starting at 12:30 pm EST on January 29th and running until April 2nd.
$100 for the 10-weeks, which comes out to about $10/session. And if that feels like too much but you’re craving creative time, email me. We’ll figure it out.
At the top of the hour, I’ll pull a prompt from a hat. Prompts can rage from quotes, songs, images, inspirations and muses. Whatever the prompt is that day, we’ll write about it.
And since I’m pulling it from a hat, I won’t know what that day of writing looks like, either. Which means I’ll be as submersed in the experience as you are.
No tips, advice or teaching. Not because I don’t love to talk about writing. But because the truth is, I’m dried up, baby. I’m in the desert. I need some nourishment through creativity. And I want to do it alongside others. As a friend recently told me, I need to trust that what I need, others need, too. So here we go.
Want to join?
Click here. This is the link to pay
From there, I’ll see you’ve joined and will have gathered your email address
I’ll then email you a Zoom link and a little welcome letter (with some suggestions on what to bring with you).
That’s it! This is meant to be easy and simple. Because that’s how I’d like to approach my art this year. Without excuses. Without urgency. Without unreachable expectations or judgements. I think this is a welcomed approach for others, as well.
We’ll begin this Sunday, January 29th at 12:30 pm EST.
I’ve decided to keep registration open for the whole 9 weeks. If you decide you want to join halfway through, email me and I’ll send you a prorated price.
I can’t wait to see you.
See old faces. Meet new faces. And hang out while writing!!! Dreamy.
x D
